The FIFA World Cup Trophy will be on display in Buenos Aires for fans to see on February 19 and 20. The most coveted prize in the football world will visit the city as part of the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola. Fans will have the opportunity to admire the original trophy that was lifted by Argentina’s national football team captain Lionel Messi in 2022. The tour will include exclusive and immersive experiences to relive emotions at exposition center La Rural (Av. Sarmiento and Av. Santa Fe, Palermo) from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. For Coca-Cola Argentina, it is an honor and an immense privilege to bring the FIFA World Cup Trophy back to the country, now more than ever, as proud World Champions, said Coca-Cola Argentina director Leonardo Garca. This Trophy Tour transcends an event; it is the celebration of a shared dream, our way of honoring every Argentine. We are confident that this experience will renew the profound joy that took Argentina to the top and propel the national team toward the FIFA World Cup 2026 with that same passion. The FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola will visit 30 FIFA Member Associations, with 75 stops over 150 days, including eight countries in Latin America. Its the only time, other than the actual football tournament, that the trophy leaves the FIFA Museum in Switzerland. Before arriving in Argentina, the FIFA World Cup Trophy Latin American leg will kick off in Guatemala City on February 13. From there, itll go to San Pedro Sula, Bogot, and Quito. After Argentina, the trophy will travel to Montevideo and then arrive in Brazil, where it will visit So Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Brasilia. Then it will tour the host countries before the tournament starts on June 11. Argentina will begin its quest to defend its title on June 16 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas. The team will face Algeria in Group J, alongside Austria and Jordan.
